WHAT: Between Epicurean Atlanta’s Blind Tasting Wine Down and Discover Spain: Regional Fare & Wine to Pair immersive theatre experiences, Atlantans can explore a variety of new flavors this August.
• Blind Tasting Wine Down – Epicurean Atlanta’s Blind Tasting Wine Down (Aug. 20, 6:30-8 p.m.) is a wine lover’s dream scenario. This immersive wine-tasting workshop features three rounds of blind tasting battles where attendees will identify six wines from various regions. Kelly Cornett of A Cork in the Road and Chelsea Young of The Oenophile Institute will host the exploratory event, sharing expert insights into tasting techniques and regional wine characteristics. Tickets are $50 per person, including six wines and a charcuterie spread, and can be purchased online.
• Discover Spain: Regional Fare & Wine to Pair – Embark on a five-course culinary journey through Spain during Epicurean Atlanta’s Discover Spain: Regional Fare & Wine to Pair experience (Aug. 28, 7-9 p.m.). Chef-crafted dishes inspired by several of Spain’s distinct regions will be thoughtfully paired with five wines selected by Kelly Cornett of A Cork in the Road, who will guide guests through each pairing while sharing insights into the country’s diverse wine-growing regions. Tickets are $85 per person, including dinner, wine pairings and the guided tasting presentation, and are available online.
