Kelly Cornett of A Cork in the Road, LLC is back in the theatre to host a fun night of blind tasting battles. She is bringing Chelsea Young of The Oenophile Institute along to co-host and share some of her insights from her WSET Diploma studies that will add a new level of knowledge to how you can identify these wines. Get ready to blind test your palate & try some new wines while comparing styles from various regions!
Tickets are $50 per person – each ticket includes tasting an educational lineup of 6 wines showcased throughout 3 rounds of blinded comparisons, a cheese & charcuterie spread, and lots of wine wisdom from Kelly & Chelsea!

ABOUT THE TALENT
Kelly Cornett of A Cork in the Road is a wine events and media consultant based in Atlanta with 10+ years of experience working in a wide range of roles in the wine industry from production to education. She used to manage a winery in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, but now she serves as Atlanta’s local wine concierge by designing pairings for wine dinners, teaching classes, and hosting tasting experiences – both in-person and virtually. She also hosts the “A Cork in the Road” Podcast that highlights people who are shaping the Southeast wine industry which was named The Hue Society’s “Podcast of the Year” in 2023. Chelsea Young, The Oenophile Institute – Chelsea Young is an Atlanta native and “retired” hospitality & distribution professional whose wine journey began in 2011 with a bottle of Hermitage though the spark didn’t fully ignite until 2017. She has since earned credentials from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Society of Wine Educators, Wine Scholar Guild, and most noteably WSET. Chelsea completed her WSET Level 4 Diploma in 2023 and became a WSET Certified Educator that same year. She has since added Certified Champagne Educator (Comité Champagne) and Wine Scholar Guild Certified Educator to her credentials. Passionate about education, Chelsea opened The Oenophile Institute in 2022 and has taught over 800 students through drop-in classes and various certifications. She co-created the international wine competition Sommlympics with Kelly Cornett, writes for the Blood of Gods wine zine, and continues her own wine education journey in her free time. When not focused on wine, she is a proud cat mom, avid crafter, and all around nerd.
