WHAT:

Keep the summer foodie festivities going strong with Epicurean Atlanta’s August events:

- On Thursday, Aug. 14 from 7 to 9 p.m., celebrate the wealth of Atlanta’s culinary diversity with a five-course wine dinner during Epicurean Theatre’s “Atlanta Food Staples Wine Dinner.” The Atlanta-centric evening will highlight some of the most beloved stories and local restaurants, showcasing what makes ATL so rich with flavor and tradition. The multi-course menu will include Salmon Chips, inspired by Two Urban Licks; a Bec Bagel, inspired by Emerald City Bagel; Chicken Wings, inspired by Magic City; Squid Ink Pasta, inspired by BoccaLupo; a Catfish Po’ Boy, inspired by Bankhead Seafood; and five wine pairings. Enjoy this culinary ode to Atlanta, led by Atlanta locals Kelly Cornett of A Cork in the Road, Ryan Mullins, Winebow Importer & Distributor, and Epicurean Atlanta Chef Stephanie Echeverria. Tickets are $85 per person and can be purchased online.
- On select Mondays, enjoy a free yoga class and complimentary boozy beverage at “Sweat & Sip in the Sky Powered by Lululemon.” Held at 6 p.m., the one-hour fitness class takes yoga to new heights on the ninth-floor Epicurean Atlanta Sky Terrace lawn. August dates currently include Aug. 11, 18, 25. RSVPs will be open online soon.
- Celebrate “Taco Cart Tuesdays” from 12 to 3 p.m. on the Reverence patio, offering a choice of Beef Asada, Chicken Al Pastor, or Pork Carnitas tacos, topped with Salsa Roja, Salsa Verde, and limes, accompanied with a seasonal Agua Fresca, all for just $10.
- Enjoy “Taco Cart Saturdays” at Aerial Kitchen & Bar from 2 to 6 p.m. Guests can enjoy three tacos – Beef Asada, Chicken Al Pastor, or Pork Carnitas – and an Agua Fresca for $10 with sky-high views from the ninth-floor.
