Join us in the Epicurean Theatre for an ATL-centric wine and culinary exploration hosted by A Cork in the Road featuring wine pairings designed by Ryan Mullins, a homegrown Atlanta sommelier, who will share the stories and Atlanta restaurants that have inspired these creative combinations. Chef Stephanie Echeverria will present dishes representing 5 classic Atlanta staples inspired by beloved local restaurants.
Kelly, Ryan, and Chef Stephanie will take you through a journey of the Atlanta food scene and highlight what makes this city so rich with flavor and tradition. Guests will leave with new palate skills and insights that could even inspire a night of recreating these pairings with friends and family at home!

MEET THE HOSTS
Kelly Cornett, A Cork in the Road – Kelly Cornett of A Cork in the Road is a wine events and media consultant based in Atlanta with 10+ years of experience working in a wide range of roles in the wine industry from production to education. She used to manage a winery in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, but now she serves as Atlanta’s local wine concierge by designing pairings for wine dinners, teaching classes, and hosting tasting experiences – both in-person and virtually. She also hosts the “A Cork in the Road” Podcast that highlights people who are shaping the Southeast wine industry. Ryan Mullins, Winebow Importer & Distributor – Ryan Mullins is a Wine Consultant at Winebow Importer and Distributor who has garnered recognition for his sharp palate and wine knowledge. Ryan has been a standout performer in the annual “Sommelier Smackdown: Man (Or Woman) vs. Wine!” event at Vino Venue, securing victories in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2018. He has also worked harvest at Hirsch Vineyards on the Sonoma Coast and Blue Rock Winery in Alexander Valley in addition to traveling extensively to wine regions all over the world. Mullins’ professional background is marked by his deep commitment to wine education and tasting excellence. He regularly participates in blind tastings, where his ability to discern intricate details about wines has been consistently proven. These events not only highlight his technical skills but also his ability to engage and educate both novices and seasoned wine enthusiasts alike.
