Atlanta Flavors, Sweet Treats and Wine Take the Spotlight at Epicurean Theatre This September

WHO:     Epicurean Atlanta, Midtown’s culinary-focused hotel and home to the immersive Epicurean Theatre

WHAT:     Epicurean Theatre turns its attention to sweets, wine and Atlanta’s diverse culinary scene this September with two interactive experiences: an Easy-Bake Workshop led by local pastry chef AJ DeDiego and a five-course wine dinner inspired by some of the city’s best-known food destinations.

  • Easy-Bake Workshop – Pastry chef AJ DeDiego returns to the Epicurean Theatre for an Easy-Bake Workshop (Sept. 10, 6:30-8 p.m.) featuring three crowd-pleasing desserts and wines to match. During the tasting and demonstration, DeDiego will show guests how to make his perfect chocolate cake, lemon blueberry cheesecake and chai spice cinnamon rolls, with each dessert paired with a wine. Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased online.
  • Atlanta Food Staples Wine Dinner – Back by popular demand, Epicurean Theatre’s Atlanta Food Staples Wine Dinner (Sept. 24, 7-9 p.m.) takes guests on a five-course tour of the city’s culinary scene without leaving their seats. Epicurean Atlanta Chef Jaime Cubias will create a menu inspired by Atlanta favorites Tio Lucho’s, Gu’s, El Rey del Taco, The Optimist and hometown icon Coca-Cola, celebrating the range of flavors that define dining in the city. Kelly Cornett of A Cork in the Road and Adam Venable of Winebow Importer & Distributor will lead guests through five accompanying wine pairings.
