The Art of Pairing: Beer VS Wine Dinner

Schedule: Wednesday, November 5, 6:30pm - 8:30pmPrice: $80.00Tickets Available: 43Venue: Epicurean Theatre
Event Information

With the craft beer scene taking the country by storm in the last decade, the art of pairing has reached a whole new level, with barriers being broken, and beer taking a seat at the table right next to wine. Pairing food with any beverage is a welcomed practice to our epicurean endeavors, and just like wine pairing, beer pairing is an art that stems from knowing your flavors, and how to complement and work together to accentuate both the beverage and the bite. But, which pairing – beer or wine – is preferred? Join us in the Epicurean Theatre to settle the debate during a guided 5-course exploration of wine, beer, and food pairings!
Designed by ATL-based wine educator and tasting event consultant – Kelly of A Cork in the Road, LLC – this unique beverage showdown will deepen your understanding of how flavors, smells, and styles of beer and wine pairing combinations interact with a variety of food dishes. Guests will enjoy side-by-side pairings from cohosts Kelly of a Cork in the Road (wine) & Three Taverns Brewery (beer) throughout five rounds of strategic food pairings. Kelly’s unique data collection format is designed to help guests define their personal food pairing preferences in a fun, approachable way. Will beer or wine come out on top? You won’t want to miss this beverage battle!
Tickets are $80 per person – each ticket includes 5 wine pairings by Kelly Cornett, 5 Three Tavern beer pairings, and a 5-course dinner featuring flavors of Reverence.

Three Taverns Brewery – “At Three Taverns, we believe, as we gather at the table and share our lives together over good food and drink, we are formed at our best as humans. And beer is often a participant in these moments—from thousands of years before Roman times to the present day. Our conviction is that the beer served at the table should be worthy of the moment, not just compatible with the culture of the table, but something that elevates it… because our human experience deserves it.”
